David F. Castillo, a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Prior to pursuing a career as a NP, he worked at both Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and the Phoenix VA in the Cardiology department for over 4 years as a RN. He received his Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from Saint Louis University. He is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Cardiac Care Consultants in February 2013, he worked in the Critical Care department at Tucson Medical Center and at a private Neurosurgery practice in Phoenix as a NP. He works at Banner Boswell Medical Center and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center.

Crysta Silas is a native from Indiana, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University, in Marion, IN. Prior to pursuing a career as an NP, she worked in progressive cardiac care for 5yr and in the Cardiovascular Transplant ICU for 3yr at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She then decided to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She works at Banner Boswell Medical Center and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center.
