David F. Castillo, a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Prior to pursuing a career as a NP, he worked at both Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and the Phoenix VA in the Cardiology department for over 4 years as a RN. He received his Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from Saint Louis University. He is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Cardiac Care Consultants in February 2013, he worked in the Critical Care department at Tucson Medical Center and at a private Neurosurgery practice in Phoenix as a NP. He works at Banner Boswell Medical Center and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center.

Crysta Silas
Crysta Silas is a native from Indiana, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University, in Marion, IN. Prior to pursuing a career as an NP, she worked in progressive cardiac care for 5yr and in the Cardiovascular Transplant ICU for 3yr at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She then decided to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She works at Banner Boswell Medical Center and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center.

Olivia Walter
Olivia Walter was born and raised in Bratislava, Slovakia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from National American University in Sioux Falls, SD. Before pursuing her career as a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as an Emergency Department nurse for six years. She dedicated three years to serving high-need emergency departments affected by COVID-19 as an Emergency travel nurse. Her pursuit of advanced education led her to Chamberlain University in Chicago, IL, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Olivia's commitment to excellence is underscored by her board certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Olivia is credentialed at Banner Boswell Medical Center and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, where she works with our exceptional cardiologists. Her dedication undoubtedly contributes to the well-being of our Cardiac Care Consultants’ patients.
